This blog is a creative endeavor on my part to keep me engaged and entertained while I work toward becoming healthier and more fit. I am attempting to walk/run the equivalent distances from the Hobbit. I do the cardio portion of my workout every other day, so those days I will post actual distances. On off days I will post something related to my life, but presented in a style that ties it to The Hobbit and to this blog.
Synopsis From the Book:
Gandalf
comes to Bag End and proposes ‘an adventure’ to Bilbo. To get rid of
him,
Bilbo invites him to tea the next day. Gandalf arrives with the Dwarves around 4:00 p.m. They eat a large meal, do lots of talking and stay the night.The dwarves are gone in the morning. 10:30 a.m. Gandalf finds Bilbo having Second Breakfast. Sends
him off.
My Comments:
The strangest things have been happening up at Bags End. It seems that
Bilbo is headed off with a bunch of Dwarves! I am packing up my stuff,
I've decided to follow after them...
